CH. KIPPAX FEARNOUGHT

CH. KIPPAX FEARNOUGHT
 BEST IN SHOW..WESTMINSTER  KENNEL CLUB
 JUDGE:  MR. ALBERT VAN COURT
 OWNER:  DR. JOHN SAYLOR
 HANDLER:  HARRY SANGSTER
 02/55

This photo is here because Fearnought was one of the greats of the past and these photos are hard to find.  I never had the benefit of seeing  Fearnought, since he showed before I started.

In 1957, Fearnought won 6 Non-Sporting Groups…He went Best In Show all 6 times.

As a sire, Fearnought produced 31 Champions…more than any Bulldog up to that time.

CH. VARDONA FROSTY SNOWMAN

CH. VARDONA FROSTY SNOWMAN
BREEDER/OWNER/HANDLER:  DR. EDWARD M. VARDON

Shown in the late 1950s and early 1960s.

Frosty Snowman may have been the most dominant winning Bulldog in history.  He was Best of Breed at the BCA National Specialty for 5 consecutive  years. His record of 40 Specialty Bests of Breed stood for more than 40 years.  He was the #1 Non-Sporting Dog in America for 3 consecutive  years and a top 10 All-breeds in each of those years.

Sorry for the poor quality of this photo.  It is, however, a wonderful picture.  If I can find a better copy, I’ll replace it.
